Shining Light Yoga
With warmest welcomes and appreciation for showing interest in MY BLOG
This BLOG has been a heartfelt, soulfull, determination to make a wish of mine come true- to put out all the positive, motivational, inspiration, up-lifting, relatable messages, stories, affirmations, quotes, revelations, confessions, and personal struggles that will hopefully touch someone- even if it is just ONE person- and work to make their day a little brighter; their mood more positive; their belief in themselves much stronger; and maybe, just maybe, get that message across that we are all beautiful, worthwhile, lovable, courageous, strong, capable people with so much goodness to offer. My dream is that, as you check in and read some of the blogs or quotes or affirmations- even self-confessions- that you will gain the knowledge; the sincere belief that you are AMAZING just as you are. That you have everything inside you you need to make your own dreams come true. Give up the strive for perfection. There is NO such thing. There is only your best and in doing your best you are free from the need to control; free from your demons; free from feeling empty. Always remember, we are perfect as we are. We are all shining lights or gems that have just become clouded or dusty. Our job is to polish that beautiful gem of the Self within and shine as we were meant to- in all our beauty; in all our strength; in all our amazingness; in all our unique and special differences.
All my love to you all. May you know pure happiness; total confidence; and the sincere belief that you are an amazing human being.
Namaste~

These Days........
"These days, my practice is teaching me to embrace imperfection; to have compassion for all the ways things haven't turned out as I planned, in my body and in my life- for the ways things keep falling apart, and failing, and breaking down. It's less about fixing things, and more about learning to be present for exactly what is." ~Anne Cushman

A Buddhist Prayer of Forgiveness:
If I have harmed anyone in any way either knowingly or unknowingly
through my own confusions I ask their forgiveness.
If anyone has harmed me in any way either knowingly or unknowingly
through their own confusions I forgive them.
I forgive myself for that.
For all the ways that I harm myself, negate myself, doubt myself, belittle myself,
judge or be unkind to myself through my own confusions I forgive myself.
through my own confusions I ask their forgiveness.
Adversity........

The Power of Your Angels
"Unless someone can look into the core of your heart, and see the degree of your passion, or look into the depths of your soul and see the extent of your will, then they have no business telling you what you can or cannot acieve. Because while they may know the odds, they do not know YOU. Nor do they know the power of your angels." ~Sandra Kring

To Be Really Loved.....
Someone who really loves you down to your toes will see what a mess you can be, how moody you can get and how hard you are to handle BUT still wants you in their life and can't imagine a day without you!
Never Let Someone Bring You Down
"When life kicks you in the ass, roll up your sleeves and kick it back. Never let someone bring you down when you’re up and never sink to a lower level to be something or someone you’re not. You never have to impress someone that you don’t like"…Unknown

The Worst
"When we face the worst that can happen in any situation, we grow. When circumstances are at their worst, we can find our best." ~Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
